Sharon is a Fellow of the Victoria College of Music with honours, F.V.C.M. (Hons) in conducting and holds a bronze medal in arranging.

Sharon also holds an A.V.C.M. in cornet playing, Grade VIII trumpet, Grade VI theory, Grade V tenor horn and Grade I piano!
